The organiser’s 1 October wrap-up records a final day with success on both sides. Northern NSW’s under-14 boys won 2–0 to complete an undefeated tournament without conceding a goal. Its under-16 boys finished with a 9–0 victory, including a Levi Van Haren hat-trick.

Football NSW’s girls teams answered strongly. Isabella Smyth scored twice in the under-14 side’s 2–0 win, while Nakai Duffy-Kerr scored the only goal in the under-16 girls’ match. Those results contributed to a tournament featuring four age-group teams and an overall aggregate result.

The football is the headline, but the event also celebrates First Nations community through a shared representative setting. Coaches, staff, families and supporters all contribute to making that opportunity possible. The full report includes match details and individual tournament awards for readers who want to follow the emerging players. It is a satisfying sporting chapter to revisit as teams return to their local competitions and families take the memories of the tournament home.
